Dr. David Feldman is an experienced gastroenterologist, practicing since 1992. He treats patients in general digestive disorders such as stomach pain, ulcers, reflux, constipation, and Crohn’s disease in addition to subspecialties of Hepatology and Liver transplantation.
He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG). During his time at St. Vincents, he was Director of Hepatitis Research. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU School of Medicine.
Additionally, Dr. Feldman is an avid pilot, holding a commercial pilot certificate with an instrument rating. He is a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner with the FAA, and regularly conducts aviation medical exams (Class 1, 2, or 3). His experience and knowledge as an aviator means that Dr. Feldman has the capability to navigate regulations and guide pilots through the FAA medical certification process, including cases which require special issuance.
